Under the USCG's Oil Spill Removal Organization (OSRO) program, Moran holds a WCD3 (Worse Case Discharge) classification in all Eastern Captain Of The Port zones. These classifications allow clients to list MER's response resource inventory (RRI) in facility response plans knowing MER's expertise, experience and assets are regularly inspected by the USCG's National Strike Force.
MER is contracted to support the Delaware Bay River Cooperative (DBRC), the Charleston Liquid Spillage Control Cooperative (LSCC,) the Savannah Spill Response Cooperative (SSRC,) and the Jacksonville Spillage Control Association.
MER currently services over 350 emergency response contracts with private and public sector entities from Massachusetts to Florida.
