MER responds to 11,000 gallon jet-fuel spill in Attleboro, MA

Early Thursday, November 6th, Moran Environmental Recovery was called in by the Massachusetts DEP to respond to an E.R. on 95 South in Attleboro, MA.  A tanker carrying 11,000 gallons of jet fuel was involved in an accident, and rolled over, releasing some of it's contents on the side of the highway.

MER dispatched 15 personnel, 2 vacuum trucks, our MEMT emergency response trailer, and our Level A High-Haz specialized response truck.

MER is working with the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection, local fire-fighters, police, and environmental teams to containerize the release, and clean-up any material released to the environment.
