MER celebrates Earth Day by contributing to local Stewardship Initiatives
In the spirit of Earth Day, and as part of Moran Environmental Recovery's commitment to Environmental Stewardship, MER is volunteering personnel and services to assist in various Earth Day events at our East Coast resource centers.
On April 22nd, MER Savannah and Jacksonville are contributing a vacuum truck and personnel to assist in CSX's EARTH DAY clean-up in Waycross, GA. Personnel will be assisting in debris clean-up and planting trees.
On Saturday, April 25th, MER Connecticut is contributing a roll-off, dumpster, and clean-up personnel to the Pequabuck River Watershed Association clean-up in Bristol & Forestville, CT.
On Sunday, April 26th, MER Jacksonville is participating in the WAV Duval Opening of Beaches, where we will be participating in the parade, and walking to pick-up litter with the St. Johns River Management District.
