There are many components that define Supplier Diversity, but at Moran Environmental Recovery, LLC (MER) we believe there is ultimately one main goal – to treat all firms fairly no matter their size, ownership, or make-up. Simply put our Diversity philosophy means commitment to ensuring our company embraces a culture of respect and appreciation for differences and similarities of people.  

MER understands the value and benefits that result from partnering with a diverse array of suppliers of goods and services. MER is committed to ensuring that Small Business concerns (SB), as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), defined by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) in accordance with Title 49 C.F.R. Part 26, and other diverse firms are given full and equal consideration in MER's procurement opportunities.

We encourage prime contractors to source the DOT's DBE databases to provide subcontract opportunities. And we encourage the Diverse Business Community to register with your State's Department of Transportation as a DBE, the U.S. Small Business Administration's System for Award Management (SAM) formerly the Central Contracting Registry (CCR), the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC), the Women Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) or if you have prior active military service and are now a Veteran or Service-disabled business-owner (VOB), the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs. • Certificate of Insurance evidencing the types/limits of insurances carried by your firm.
• Completed Supplier Diversity Certification Form.
• Copies of current and applicable SB/DBE certifications issued by any federal, state, or local agency.
• Copies of applicable licenses or permits required for your firm to provide the requested service(s) or good(s).
