5.23.2011

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Jacksonville, Florida May 23, 2011

Moran Environmental Recovery, LLC (MER) announced today the acquisition of Jacksonville Pollution Control, Inc., a long established Oil Spill Removal Organization (OSRO) in the Northeast Florida market.

Jacksonville Pollution Control (JPC) was established by the late Earl Edenfield, in part to service the membership of Jacksonville Spillage Control, an oil spill cooperative, which was created in 1973 as the first of its kind in the United States. In addition to providing OSRO services to the cooperative, JPC provides routine industrial cleaning and response services to a number of clients throughout the Jacksonville area.

“We are excited to have Jacksonville Pollution Control become part of the MER family of companies. JPC is an excellent fit with our nationally-recognized oil spill response capabilities, and we look forward to continuing the legacy built by Mr. Edenfield and his dedicated employees over their many years of operation”, commented Brian House, President & Chief Executive Officer of MER.

JPC will operate as a subsidiary of MER, and will continue to service clients and contracts under its existing Jacksonville Pollution Control brand. Bob Steffens, a 20 year veteran of JPC has been appointed General Manager, and will continue to oversee daily operations.
