Moran Environmental Recovery, LLC as part of its long standing partnership with MA DEP, provided training for local first responders. Members of the US Coast Guard also assisted in the drill at the Fore River basin on Tuesday. Moran is also the contractor that provides the state and coastal communities the trailers to protect their resources. |

On Thursday, October 22, 2015, Moran Environmental Recovery (MER) deployed a protection strategy around Ram Island, which is located in Buzzards Bay, Cape Cod, MA. As the attached linked article explains, Ram Island is a very environmentally sensitive area. This deployment was part of the MassDEP's GRP development and testing program. MER along with its response partners Nuka, Smith Marine, and Avwatch, coordinated all resources to deploy MassDep and USCG response assets. |

The Coast Guard and Moran Environmental worked together to clean-up the spill. About 1.5 miles of boom was used to contain the spill along the river, from Hutchinson Island to Garden City. |

MER Corporate supports local charity the “Boston Minstrel Company.” Since 1991, the Minstrels have been providing energetic and warm-hearted performances that lift people’s spirits.
